Partner Sales Specialist   Tokyo 11-17-2018
Position Summary

As a Partner Sales Specialist you are responsible for the sale of security solutions within the defined partners and territory. This will be achieved through understanding, validating, and proving the value of security solutions as well as putting them into the business context of the partners. This position will work closely with the Operating Area Leader, Channel Account Manager, channel partners, and members of the security sales team to drive lead generation, revenue growth and partner commitment by strong executive engagement and thought leadership with our partner base.

You will have strong business acumen and strong CxO communication skills, collaboration & sales skills as well as an understanding of the security market & trends.

Principal Responsibilities
Enable new and existing security partners
Responsible for acquiring new security partners
Grow revenue within these partners significantly
Establish value-add with this new partner community
Build strong executive engagement and prove strategic value with key customers
Build models for identifying and leveraging best the capabilities of partner, specifically in terms of solutions, demand generation
Large deal support on exception base

Requirements
Ten (10) years of IT industry sales and/or partner management experience for either the software or security solution provider.
Security background is preferred.
The successful candidate should have underlying business acumen or experience in order to demonstrate and explain how solutions can fulfill the technical and business requirements of customers and how they add value to our partner community.

SUMMARY:

The Key Account Executive will be responsible for the sales of Network and Service Enablement products in the country. This role will create the strategic sales plan for this country, working with the GTM, local SSO and the Country Manager to drive new business and expand products and services to existing customers. It responsible for strategic planning and execution of sales programs with key objectives of accelerating bookings and improving customer satisfaction

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implement local sales and support plans for Laboratory & Manufacturing Test, Fiber Inspection and Optical Network Transport products, targeting key Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs) accounts
- Drive sales revenue growth and report subsequent status and progress
- Provide reporting to management relating to big deal awareness and forecasting
- Provide feedback that strengthens company position in the market
- Initiate and develop executive alignment within strategic areas of the key accounts
- Execute growth plans while meeting deliverables and timeliness for strategic initiatives
- Coordinate customer involvement with key strategic initiatives
- Mentor and coach sales and support resources (transfer skills and knowledge)
- Make Customers visits and broaden business relationships with the clients
- Liaise with internal divisional contacts
- Prepare quotation with emphasis on benefits, feature, technical, commercial and contractual requirement, and order confirmation details
- Perform direct marketing activities
- Provide pre and post sales service to customers
- Follow up delivery schedules
- Develop business plans to grow the Account assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor of electrical and electronic engineering
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years Technical Sales and Marketing experience demonstrating consistent growth/success in the communications or a related industry.
- Proven leadership skills with driving the business, vocational (technical) competency, and mentoring/coaching sales people.
- Effective at executive level selling in a key account, preferably Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs).
- Skilled at functional (matrix) management and team selling approach.
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Performs above and beyond delegated tasks with little supervision.
