Regional CTO at US Network Company.

The position will be leading the technology and product lines in the Asian Region

Key Responsibilities

- Identify technology market that supports the success of the company
- Collaborate with global technical teams and researchers in development of product requirements as it relates to the regional market.

Qualifications

- Experience in wireless technology and related products
- Experience in CTO and related roles in driving technology direction for product line/company preferred.
- Experience in influencing in Standard bodies and technology direction of the company.
- Significant experience in testing, optimization and/or assurance of wireless systems, both in the lab and in the field. Instinctive feel for optimal test strategy to answer a given question about a given problem.
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with concentration in wireless and radio systems
- Strong English language skills;
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences inside and outside the company.
- Strong business acumen and industry insight, thought leadership.

Duties, responsibilities and requirements of the role shall include but not limited to:
Employed as Regional Sales Manager (NVS in Japan) reporting to the Sr. Director, Singapore.
- Achieve sales goals in terms of target quota and margin
- Develop professional relationships with key customers, support other sales representatives and distribution partners within your areas of responsibility, while providing first class customer service
- Deliver formal product presentations to customers
- Develop and execute a business plan that develops long term sales growth for and its subsidiaries across your account responsibility
- Routinely call on your customers
- Develop deal strategy and build relationships with key members of the sales organization
- Deliver formal solution presentations to customers outlining the value add of Wireless technologies and products in the context of their business and operational environment
- Utilize and maintain SFDC (CRM Tool) to record all opportunities and deals (ie: real-time forecast and funnel management
- Participate with sales representatives and distribution partners in the deal management and forecasting process ensuring the funnel and forecast is accurate and provides a true indication of potential within your account responsibilities
- Remain knowledgeable on competitive products and technologies
- Ability to effectively sell all product lines
- Carry out other tasks as may reasonably be requested of you by either your line manager or other managers within the company

Responsibility
Supplier Management
- Define/manage the Supplier network, business Orientation and maintained preferred suppliers lists
- Country Supplier Mapping: identify business needs & market evolution
- Preferred Supplier Leadership:- Negotiation, Lead Business Review and supplier development program.

Purchasing Performance
- Define and track performance dashboard; accountable for the consolidated purchasing performance
- Deploying purchasing & non purchasing levers; track and ownership of performance
- Formulate cross functional levers for Supplier performance, innovation, Service level and sustainable growth with the function governance validation.
- Share Strategy, Supplier base and best practices with Regional team.

Project and Management
- Sourcing, standardization, spend control and innovation with suppliers.
- Leverage cross functional expertise to implement cost model or rate card, selection guide, data standardization short list and purchasing policies
- Support other buyers in their consolidated negotiations and supplier management actions
- Manage Country cross functional team partnership with the Business Owner.

Talent and People Development
- Identify Talent and manage his/her development roadmap and their career plan
- Competency development and enhance his/her team capability and capacity

Education: Degree in Business Administration/Management/Purchasing or Supply Chain

Job Related Experience: 5 years of experience in Purchasing of which Min. 3 years of in Non Production or Indirect Purchasing with broad commercial experience.

Business Understanding: Candidate with Cross Functional team work, strong communication skill and functional and/or project management exposure is preferred

Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): Proficient in English and Local Language. Experience in People Management and Presentation Skill is essential. Cross-Cultural Competent and management of diverse business oriented environment.
