Our client is a successful B2C services company operating across 7 countries in the APAC region. With 50 employees based in their brand-new Tokyo office — just minutes from a local JR station — they are entering an exciting new phase of growth.
They are now seeking a hands-on Office Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of their
Tokyo head office while supporting general affairs and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all office operations, including security, reception support, conference room management, and daily office matters
• Manage office facilities, equipment maintenance, purchasing, and vendor coordination
• Support event planning and internal office activities
• Act as the primary contact for payroll vendors and assist with HR-related inquiries
• Coordinate facilities requests and general affairs operations
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding communications and logistics
• Support HR operations in Japan and help streamline administrative processes
What We’re Looking For
• Experience as an Office Manager, Office Administrator, or in a General Affairs/Operations role
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working across all levels and with external vendors
• Professional, adaptable, discreet, and capable of handling confidential information
• Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative office environment
